I found that if an admin altered settings in the webadmin page then the server name is screwed, if it contains Chinese characters.
Later I found out the file KFGame.ini is defaultly coded as UTF-8. If i did any changes in the webadmin then it would be overwritten as ANSI.
Neither of the above support Chinese characters as server names. However, a third coding method does, known as UTF-16 LE. The ini file coded in this method DOES work to KF2 server program AND displays the Chinese characters correctly. However they must be manually resaved from its UTF8 or ANSI counterparts.
Can TWI solve this? Just save the settings from webadmin as UTF-16 LE instead of ANSI!
