Sound Add custom music to KF2

Hi,

I'm a music producer and a KF fan! I'm currently working on a album and I think the music could really fit KF2. I would like to release my album on the KF2 steam workshop as a free download so you can listen to it in-game.

I've browsed KF1 forums and it seems the technique is not the same to mod the music and sounds in KF2.

Can someone point me where to start or what to do?

That's right it is VERY different. For starters I would like to link you my friend's tutorial on the main aspect as well as the way the system works. There are some stuff they will add to it later on after I have done my portion of the experiment.

Other than that it works the same way but it set up very differently. When you change the music using the simple file swap there is no problem there. However when you get into the Track Info editing you are sacrificing Online Play if you like to play on multiple servers. Unless you are like me and have your own server then you can simply upload that same file to your server to rid yourself of mismatch issues when connecting. But as stated in the tutorial PLEASE BACK UP YOUR ORIGINAL FILES BEFORE MODDING.....also just in case you decide to play on another server that way you have the original on hand :3

Perhaps once mod support is enabled for the SDK. Some people have discovered clever work-arounds for a few things but currently it's limited to maps.

Yup and the MapInfo.uc is a pain to get to. I got to it....with some help (as in someone already decompiled it before I thought of doing this).....but recompiling the KFGame.u is.....not possible atm XD
