If I had to guess, I'd say they have to throw in all that historically-inaccurate stuff to make the HEROIC HERO SOLDIERS OF HERO-DOM unlock system possible, like they did with RO2. Hopefully future media and information will prove me wrong.

I get "Killingfloor2.exe has stopped working" error on start up through Steam. I was really really hoping this would have been fixed between my beta download and the early access release. Very frustrating. I've tried most of the things suggested on these forums. The game will start for me...

Same problem, but I don't get an error. The game just sits there and there isn't a KF2 process running. I've tried restarting steam, running things through administrator, installing all the contents of those redist packages in the game directory, a few other things to no avail so far.
