If I do not enjoy playing Swat would buying the riot shield change my perception?

Basically.. I just prefer playing Commando over Swat for the most part.

For anyone who bought the riot shield and has now has quite a bit of time to play with it, does it make you enjoy the Swat perk more?

Buyer's remorse?

I'm just wondering if it's something to consider or just forget if I already dislike the perk.

I'm just going to say that out of the DLC weapons so far, the G18 is definitely the best.

Make of that information what you wish my friend.

(I do believe, however, that it won't change your opinion on the SWAT... As I think your question was more about)

Basically it lets you play closer to the front (with or instead of a Berzerker). It can mitigate big hits as well as some AOE crowd control with the bash. The "don't slow down when you aim" perk skill is basically a no-brainer with this weapon.

It costs 1500 Dosh, so it'll be a mid-to-late game weapon, so you'll need to enjoy playing the perk without it for the first part of the match (or simply switch to SWAT when you can afford the shield).
