TangoDown.nl - Dutch tactical gaming community

We just updated the front page of our website to offer some better oversight.
It should now be easier for newcomers to find all the information they need to play with us, including TS and ArmA 2 server information, and how to get and use our addons.
And it should be better looking than before, too ofcourse :)

Have a look over at www.tangodown.nl and tell us what you think, opinions are always welcome.
Thanks to Zoog and Nimster for their work on the new look. :)

Looks nice, too bad it's in that strange "language". :p:D

Looks fine but as anybody who does not understand X2 Dutch I am a little lost.
No problem for the Yoma's tools instructions but then I wanted to know which mod's are included, I was pawned :).

Checked the Calender to see when you play/test/train and found no info.

Just let me say that an English Forum section (as there was in the XAM Mod forums!) would be appreciated by more than one

Time to dig up an old thread once more :p
Recently Tangodown.nl has had it's second birthday on the 14th of October. Things are moving forward, as the community grows in size, more and more tactical training takes place and we gained some servers, putting us up to 2 or 3 that are going to be in use soon.
Each one will most likely be catered to one of our 3 pillars: public play, 'closed' sessions and the Pro-ops sessions which will be the cherry on the proverbial pie of our community :)
And it's not all just videogames, as a while ago a second real life event took place in Belgium, where some of our guys whent airsofting. ( Pictures of this event can be found in this thread: http://www.tangodown.nl/forum/thread-1245-page-14.html?highlight=airsoft Unfortunately, i couldnt be there but next time i will be there even if i have to crawl all the way!)
Earlier we did tactical paintball, of which i already posted a video in this thread earlier (the 'debrief' thread of this event can be found here http://www.tangodown.nl/forum/thread-1266.html ).

What's more, coming thursday a third event is coming up as Tangodown staff members join up with Sahrani Radio's Jerry Hopper and a few devs of Project Reality, and take up arms in VBS2 against the Dutch Army in one of their barracks in Amersfoort.
Jerry Hopper has organised this event once before a couple of years ago, and this event will be its reboot. And hopefully, we can make a regular thing of this, and Tangodown will get a lasting cooperation with our armed forces :) A report of this old event, which we had nothing to do with, can be seen here: http://armedassault.eu/Articles/Misc.-Articles/field-report-gamers-fight-real-soldiers-in-vbs2.html
Jerry Hopper will make a report of this event as well, for his new project called TopNotch, which is a videoshow concerning everything ArmA.
