I recently turned down my mouse sensitivity and I'm finding the hate part of my love-hate relationship with the LAR considerably lessened. But there's still one thing that kinda bothers me about it - other guns like the pistol and the commando weapons on semi, it's almost literally the blink of an eye between when you've pulled the trigger and when your sights are aligned again, but with the LAR you immediately get to this long and very noticeable animation where the front sight moves a considerable distance across the couple degrees you're focussing on before you've had much time to stop looking at it. I don't know about anyone else, but except for some baby-level point-blank stuff I almost invariably lose the ability to make a followup shot with my aim thrown off like that.
Conversely, sometimes there's a good chance I've already killed the zed with the first shot, but I have to waste quite a bit of time to get visual confirmation after being distracted.
So a suggestion: How about make the LAR so that, if you hold the fire button, you'll shoot and keep looking down the sights until you let go at which point the animation starts playing the chambering animation?
(I suppose this could work for xbow and shotguns too... - not the shotguns since srsly who is crazy enough to use the sights on those)
