A generally great powerhouse with few weaknesses.
Though these weaknesses, namely their primary weapons spreading and long reload times cripple them, it makes them a very balanced, yet highly effective choice.

I am just in shock and awe that nobody has chocked up Sharpshooter yet. I see like 10 million sharpshooters every game i go into. Glad to see those baddies don't peruse these forums. =D

I wonder if some of the more casual KF players who rely on the M14 to succeed will quit playing once it gets the nerf.

Maybe. but if i were them i'd just go commando and use the SCAR on semi auto. Using the SCAR on semi and using the M14 to "spam" are almost the exact same in playstyle except that the SCAR has better sights.

Commando isn't as easy to powerlevel and doesn't have the easymode dot. Spammers don't even use sights.

I once ran into a player, lvl4 SS, who said that he only ever played with a pistol, and an m14 (using team money). No other weapons, no other perks. Ever.
I found this really sad and found myself qouoting Edgar Allen Poe the rest of the game

If they do, then I say good riddance. "Addition by subtraction", or however that saying goes. Fewer games filled with M14 spammers who wipe the instant a Flesh Pound is introduced, and more games with solid groups that know what they're doing. If that means fewer games over-all, then so be it.

Only 6 Berserkers so far
While all those Commandos are hiding behind a corner with their big guns, Im right in the middle of the fight taking down fleshpounds with my bare hands.

Luckily, I roundhouse-kicked him in the face, and, being a lvl6 zerker, he then flew out the window. :IS2:

I like em all, but atm i'm really into the firebug
When played well it' just so usefull and versatile. You can soften up or outright kill most targets. You can conserve ammo and kill allmost everything with a burst or 3, but if necesary you can lay down the hurt.
He has 3 weaknesses, the scrake and the fleshpound, due to not being able to kill them before being killed, and the husk. When playing firebug those things sometimes are even nasty. You have to carry a secondary weapon that gets them fast (dual HC or katana for me usually) or empty two clips of pistol ammo, or stab it long enough with the knife for the patty to grow a beard.
The flamer has a nice feel to it (it could do with less recoil) and the fire nades are downright godly (fire nade or 2 + short flameburst = saved teammates)
