Where is my awesome mod? On Steam DA2 has completely disappeared, and a number of other KF owners are experiencing the same issue. Some of us actually really enjoy DA2 and I'm sad to have it taken away, especially when it does absolutely no harm to Tripwire Interactive to keep it in the package. Any info on why it was taken away and when/if we're getting it back?

Not at the time, no. I had played quite a lot of it recently and had it temporarily uninstalled to make room for other games on my games list that I needed to get around to playing. That doesn't mean I never want to play it again, though.

Valve has recently changed the system for mods in your games list. You can now find DA2 here in the Steam Store. http://store.steampowered.com/app/35420/

Valve has always distributed their mods like this, but DA2 was always bundled in the My Games list per TWI's insistence. Did TWI suddenly un-insist, or what caused DA2 to become unbundled with KF? I mean it's not the end of the world to have to hunt down a random page on the Steam Store to access DA2, but it is a lot less convenient than the old system, so I don't see why we should alter an already-good system for a much more inefficient one? Besides, DA2 looked all nice and shiny in my library, and now it's not there anymore in the "off-season".

Had it installed and on the list. Once I uninstalled it, it vanished. lolSteamupdates.
Until this is fixed, you can still interact with it through URL commands and stuff, though. Clicky here to install it.

It's not broken, it is just working as the rest of the steam mod system. As far as I know we never requested to be different, it just ended up that the TWI game mods never got sorted with the rest when Valve made the change. Now it looks like they have.
To install the games, browse the store to find it and click install. Simple as that.

Hey, just coming to say this
To get the update v2.2 for Da2, do the following
Take your steam shortcut, right click/properties
In the first text box, theres the link to the .exe
add the following at the end
-beta da2beta22
so it look like this
D:\Steam\Steam.exe -beta da2beta22
Restart steam and voila, update 2.2
Feature the updated zombie mod.
PS: ADD ME ON STEAM PLEASE, I'M LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO PLAY DA2

I installed like 2 weeks ago and It was in my list.
Well now that I'm looking for the RO mods, they disappeared. So something changed in steam haha
