Level Design Help with lava

I am trying to make a trough of lava, pictured below. I need help with knowing how to:

Make the texture move about like lava should, make it swimmable and make it not collide. Right now it is just a lava textured bit of level like any other.

Can't you just set it up as a water volume and change the texture to the lava one.

If you want them to be hurt you could set up other volumes or I think you can tweak the water to do instant dammage.

Thanks for the help, but I've put a railing around it now and all I need to do is make the lava move about, any idea how to do that?

Use a fluidsurfaceinfo thingy

Am I doing the right thing to add texture to it?

You want to apply the texture to the skins tab and then it will work!
