At the moment:
1. KF-Chthon.rom
2. KF-MountainPass_Beta2.rom
3. KF-DammageV3b.rom
But there are many, really good maps in Wave 2, which doesn't make it easy to select the top 3 - at least for me.

Yay, finally Chthon got some attention in the community. I was wondering if all the house advertising would be futile 
There are some well done maps in this contest. If I had to choose three of them, it would be
-Dammage (the drop pods are just pure fun)
-Icebreaker (for the overall design, look & feel)
-Going Underground (apart from the perfomance issues a very atmospheric setting)
all in a non-particular order - putting them in place is for the contest judges

In the subway tunnel during a wave, when you drag a horde of zeds with you. But it then doesn't matter if they're in your FOW. It may be an issue with the size of the tunnel and the zoning of it - although I didn't take a look in the editor yet. FPS are generally fine but in the described scenario they tend to drop below 25.
