Hello everybody. Firstly I would like to congratulate TWI for the update. Terrific job there, guys.

Now for my suggestion: Would it be possible for the medic to "sense" someone that's injured so he could go there and help that person?

For example, when somebody calls for medic, there could be an arrow pointing where the call came from. If it's too "overpowered" for the medic to have this ability, then maybe there would be a "Call Radius", that would get bigger at each level of the perk. What do you guys think?

I suggested this before and it was rabidly shut down for no reason other than "It's ripping off TF2!!!!1!!!"

I think it's a great idea that would help both medics and the ones they heal. Simply make it so it ONLY shows up for you if you're a medic and it won't even bother the other characters, plus it'll give the "Call Medic" voicebind a real use, because as it is, no one listens...

You do realize you can see player's health and armor when they are near you, right? Also, there is a radio command to call a Medic ... So put two and two together and you have your medic system.

If the team decides to split up, and you don't know where the other team is, then, what you said doesn't work. In pubs, this happens A LOT.

And yes, it would be like the Medic from TF2. Just because it's on that game does not mean KF would "rip it off".

Furthermore, we could ask to change the HUD and allow only the medic to be aware of the health of everyone. Others could only see it when they are near or maybe just don't see it.

A very nice idea indeed. This idea could be applicable to doors too. Maybe only the Support Specialist could see the welding percentage of a door from a distance (the other people could only see it on the display of the Welder).

It would nice to hold a key and see a menu with everyone's health and armor pop up.

But in the end I don't think it does you much good. If you're split up, chances are whoever needs a heal is going to be dead by the time you find them. (Think of trying to find someone on Bedlam....) Or you'll be dead trying to reach them.

What I really want is a way to scale down people's names, health and armor bars. There's NOTHING more annoying than having those things blocking your view of a doorway, or obscuring headshots even though the player is crouching for you.

How about adding a minimalistic element to the interface that displays your allies' health and armor? So rather than have it hovering over their head you can look to the side and see who needs help. Then all you have to do is identify who is who. Heck, make a Medic Gun with a little screen on it that has all the player's information on it, lol

Well, you do sort of want it floating over the character so you can quickly identify who is who. Plus it helps you find teammates when you're separated

Adding pictures, names, health and armor to the standard, visible UI would be too much IMO. I'd much rather have it a) be a menu you can bring up holding a key or b) completely scalable depending on player preferences and/or perk selection.

Medic should be able to see those bars from farther away with a number undearneath them, i.e.

Code:
<3  =========
\=/ =========
       52m
