[Music] Dragonforce tomorrow!

Going to their gig in here in Stockholm tomorrow

TBH isn't really my style of music but I don't dislike them and gigs are always fun.

I know there are some fans of them here in the forum so I just wanted to let you know

i went to overkill and exodus recently, now that was a kickass gig.

Also prepare to be dissapointed, they are quite bad live according to all i know who have seen them live.

They where awesome live.

Only problem for me is that I'm not really that in to power metal, but they put on a good show.

I actually preferd the musical orientation of the opening band Turisas (over the top symphonical folk metal), but they wheren't as awesome on stage as Dragonforce where.

Interesting, most concert reviews on the internet says they're terrible live. They even have a nickname "Studioforce" Doing some google will bring hilarious results

Since I don't listen to them normaly I don't have any point of refrence to how they should sound. But my impression was that they where a good live band and delivered a solid live preformance.

Ah, DF. Saw them live at the Opera House in April of 06 in Toronto. They were amazing that night, however I too have heard that at times they can put on terrible shows (rumor has it they simply get too wasted beforehand). While on the topic of shows, did anyone get to see the Metal Masters Tour last summer? Seeing Testament, Motorhead, Heaven and Hell and Judas Priest was freaking epic!!! Not even the ridicously overpirced beer at the Molson Amphitheatre bothered me that night
