I meant to post up these pics a while ago but never got around to it anyway there a random selection of pics taken from the last 2/3 years. Most of these pics were taken when we were out on the bikes so there might be one or *cough* 30 odd pics with bikes, ill try and source out good ones with scenic views with no bikes.

Me and brother out fur a drive up north at Inveraray we had awesome food and stout in the pub .

The wind farm which is just out the town I stay we used to go there on the bikes but you can't now , theres supposed to be over 130 going up, we took a walk up there last year and those wind mills are f*&king HUGE.

To give you an idea of how big they are my brother is at the bottom of this one.

I bunked in to the Stiff Little Fingers concert at Lock Lommand.
My girlfriend was born 'n' bred in Paisley.
Me, being a Southerner, was very wary of the Scotch.

Had a great time, got wippedout for three days and being a guest, was not permitted to put my hand in pocket.

Nice scenes, but may I ask, were those photos taken during the Summer or Autumn? If that's how your Summer looks I'd want to visit Spain or anything that is to the South of you as much as possible...

Nice pics Pile, always wanted to go to Scotland, and its so close! So prolly will soon, see Glasgow, the city where my favorite music is from, Edinburgh and visit some destilleries (Caol Ila ftw!)

And some grey lochs on overcast days - guess summer is the best time to go eh? That looks just like Norway btw

Thanx for the all the replies lads , weve been havin terrible summers recently last summer was really bad it just rained all summer long and was quite cloudy.

Aye shad summer is the best time to visit if you want to walk about and visit places.

Nay, late spring (eary/mid may) is by far better, unless you actualy like midges.


I also find we get the most sun around then to. July and august tend to be pretty wet, and of course very midgey.

Nice pics, though i hate those fugly fake regimented evergreen forests grrrr.

Need to get out and about up north again think the furthest north ive been in scotland in the last year has been Perth. Though as Pharnakes said late spring is the best time to visit, though the North West coast is great in July.
