What kind of specs will a laptop need to run RO?

I am in the process of getting a new laptop soon since my desktop has stopped working. What should I at least have to run this game? I don't even care if it's on low so I can play, but with new laptops I am hoping the game will be alright.

if when you say new laptop you mean a contempory model i'd have thought just about any available would cut it - in my experience it's graphics card performance that lets laptops down but in RO's case it's the cpu that tends to be the bottleneck so you could be alright whatever your choice.

That said, I'm not sure about memory requirements if you were running vista - which you will get on a current laptop - unless you remove it of course.

I've never installed RO on a laptop so I'm interested to see what are the lowest lappy specs anyone here has run the game on...

Since you'll probably be using integrated graphics, the latency of your RAM matters. I upgraded from CL5 to CL4 and increased my gaming graphics score from 3.2 to 3.4.
