How to clean up my RO folder

What I did for our server at 2Manny's was install locally a server with the hlsupdate.exe or whatever it's called and then this installs a default install of RO server which is pretty much similar to what is installed by default locally for the clients and then just did a compare of the default install with what was on our server and removed all that was not needed. Remember our server had every custom known to man and I had just done this last week.

It only takes a few minutes to do this:

INSTALLATION - WINDOWS

1) Download and install http://storefront.steampowered.com/download/hldsupdatetool.exe
2) Start -> Run -> cmd <Enter> (or any other way of getting a command prompt)
3) cd C:\HLServer (or whatever path you installed to) (used different path from RO install below just to keep it clean)...
4) this is the command you'll use:

hldsupdatetool.exe -command update -game redorchestra -dir C:\RO -username yoursteamaccountgoeshere -password yourrealpasswordgoeshere for logging into steam

All the hyphens are needed so don't miss them...

If you had customs get downloaded from servers they are just files within your cache folder and you can just delete everything in there.

Now if you installed manually and locally to each folder such as textures, staticmeshes etc., then you'd have to do something similar to what I mentioned above.

With that said now get your butt over to 2Manny's and get DH installed and get back on the battlefield... :D
