INTEL Core2Quad Q6600 4* 2.4Ghz - QuadCore -
8192 kb Cache

After a couple of hours the server is freezing. You can see the server is online, but if you want to open the ro-webinterface there is no connection.

Only way is to stop and start the server again.

Intel P4/Xeon Extended MCE MSRs (12), 3.2GHz
2GB RAM
Fedora release 7 (Moonshine)
[redo@server3 ~]$ ulimit

Clean RO server, with ServerExt 1.10, XAdmin, ServerAdsSE 1.02
all worked fine untill last update, more info in http://www.redorchestragame.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26113 thread
if needed, i can send you logs from ro server, but i suggest setting linux server and letting him to work for over 24h and then see what happens.

[Endlich-Crew] RO#1 [Dedi]

Virtual server (VServer),
Debian GNU/Linux (stable) on AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5600+
2GB RAM,
inclusive 32Bit emulation libaries,
2 x 400GB HDD SATA2 (mirrored RAID1).

Server is available per forwarding from outside. Machine is running two more virtual game servers (Tactical Ops:Crossfire/World of Padman "stand alone complex") and one TS virtual server, and some other stuff like webservers, mail, DNS and so on. Each on its own virtual server.

Mutators:
ServerColor
Armored Beasts 2.08

Issues:
Server doesn't appear in both Steam server browser and ingame server browser. Connecting and joining by typing in the address is possible. Before last update all was going well.
I still have a pre-update favorite line wich still works.

Linux Debian 2.6.18.3avn
Dual-Core AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 1214
2 GT RAM

We have same problem as above.. before last update everything runs without any problems..

Mutators: ServerExt, ROHudpackage, ROTeamready, AntiBS v002

[From Ramm] Please actually list out your issue. There are multiple issues listed above so "same problem as above" doesn't tell us what issue you are having. Thanks.

Only way is to stop and start the server again.

Ok there seems to be two issues here:

1) Server doesn't show in Steam server browser, or in-game server browser.

First thing I would suggest is re-running HLDS update. We put out a patch for the linux server 1 day after the release that addressed some connection issues. If you only ran HLDS once, you probably didn't get the newest update. Additionally, the ports that need to be open have been modified. Please read this post and verify you have all the proper ports listed there open.

2) Server locks up after a day or so.

This one we are looking into. Unfortunately the person that does the Linux ports for RO is out of town until the 6th. We'll do what we can, but I'm not certain we can get any traction on this until he returns. Could those of you that haven't please post their log files? That would help as well. Also, if anyone wants to volunteer to let our Linux guy remotely connect to your server to debug it, please let me know.

To give you guys an update on this, we believe we have tracked down the issue with the servers locking up after a few hours (#2 in my list above) and will be putting out a fix as soon as possible (I would estimate Monday the 7th or Tuesday the 8th). Thank you all for your patience and assistance while we have been tracking down this issue.
