Hey there, just purchased RO from steam. When I first downloaded it and tried to run it, it told me it couldn't create a GUI controller or something like that. I know I'm supposed to delete the system folder then validate my files, but I'm not sure how to validate my files (Wannabe computer nerd, I suppose 
) so if someone can walk me through those basics that'd be great.
I run:
Windows XP SP2
AMD Dual Core processor (6400+)
2GB RAM
512GB Geforce 8800.
At the moment I'm reinstalling RO since I was dumb enough to delete the system folder without knowing how to validate my files. I thought I would just have to run the game again to get it to create a new folder, but then I've played too much Garry's Mod. All help is appreciated
P.S. Your registration system was a bit of a hassle. I had to go use my college email address to sign up an account, but I understand that you placed that measure to cut down on zoloft/viagra spambots and the like. Between that and having a minor hassle to sign up, I'd pick the minor hassle any day.
