Shotguns? Exactly the wrong weapons to use against the shambling dead. According to the best guide on the subject that I've read, you want a boltie or semi-auto, to engage them from far beyond their effective grappling range. Plus, if running overland, shotgun shells take up far too much room when compared to other types of ammo.


Unless you're planning to fortify your house and wait it out, then sure. Just make sure to have bricks and mortar, lots of food and some way of getting water.

I think we can all agree, the best way to fight zombies is with a two pronged attack.

A) Double Barrelled Shotgun (sawed off) / Boomstick
B) Chainsaw - preferably attached to your arm stump
