I remember seeing on the "Sequels people would like to see" (or something similar to that) thread that some said they would like to see Mafia 2.

According to 2k Games, it's in development now...

Only thing i didnt like about Mafia was having to drive from mission to mission every time hehe, but thats just taste.
Mafia is a f-ing great game, and i love it. I just know they cant topple the original, so i wont expect much from this so i can only be surprised at the outcome lol...

Mafia was a great game...one thing that used to tick me off was getting stopped for speeding after completing a mission and get out to pay the fine and realising i had forgot to hide my gun.. needless to say i was busted..

I hope it ain't gonna be like Vietcong (excellent) and Vietcong 2(crap), I don't know what happened at Illusion Softworks there. That would make me sad because Mafia is one of the best PC games ever.

excellent, Mafia was one of two games I ever managed to play through straight multiple times over a period of months without playing other games in between, that's how much I loved it. (the other was OFP, also an excellent game in its own right.)

mafia the lost heaven scenario was perfect and it was the main reason why it was like an addiction (and also because of the nice details and nice graphics !)
i hope mafia 2 will have a nice scenario too !

but it will be difficult i doubt you will be the poor guys getting in the mafia just by an unfortunate meeting.
At least the graphics are superb !

Can't really see how you can make a Mafia 2, those of you who've finished Mafia 1 know why, and given that Mafia 1 covered pretty much everything Mafia esque from popular media etc, not to mention it was fantastic.

I can't see how Mafia 2 can be that interesting without being completely open ended and giving you even more freedom than the first, which is a lot.

I'll not hold my breath for that.


I'll expect Mafia, but better looking with some new features.

As in Ralphie the stuttering mechanic (stuttering, hence the 3 R's).

Don't bother m8. I was using that name even before RO exhisted. So before these forums came to be.
And I don't mind having the same discussion again. I'm no nick stealer and I don't mind as long as people know we are 2 different people.
