Steering Wheel support

Walking and aiming works. Why not steering?:(

because steering is a binary command.

Braking of tracks works as on or off. The longer you hold "on" the more the track brakes until it is 100% (takes under a second) this is why you are able to tap the key and turn a little. But it is still binary.

Dual sticks would work great because you would be able to control the brake/clutch of each track independently. Full forward would mean the clutch is engaged, middle would disengage the clutch, and reverse would brake. pedals would control gas.

That way you could put power into the tracks by engaging the clutch (forward) or brake that track to different degrees (backward) while in the middle the track would be in neutral. You could even implement shifting while the sticks are in the middle. Space would function as a parking brake.

The Xbox 360 control would be great for this since the two sticks could control each track, while the triggers would control gas and engine brake(?) The d-pad would control views and you could use the face buttons to shift.

I don't know much about transmissions though.

I'd really like to see at least the option to control the tracks individually, maybe with a different key setup, as it would allow to rotate the tank around the up-axis without the need to drive forward or backward. Would be extremely useful for all tanks, especially for StuGIII and SU76, as they don't have turrets and the main part of the aiming is done with the tank base and sometimes there just isnt any space to drive around plus doing so changes distance to your target.
