Only chance you will see this elsewhere is Kojima has a habit of porting MGS a few years later to other systems.

A friend told me it was going to be ported for my SNES, now i'm sad.

There was a rumour that Konami were jumping platform (maybe entirely, or with a multi-platform release) with MGS4 as the PS3 looked to be a failure. I don't think either have been decided just yet.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to 2010, when I get to play it on the Wii, with all sorts of wonderful goodies like finding a ****ing Yoshi toy somewhere in the game.

Lol guys it is not Unsure. Sony and Konami have confirmed exclusive and have even said an exclusive deal is in place. Stop getting your hopes up. Every time the "multi" console rumor comes up Kojima says "PS 3 only". As of right now the engine it is on will only run on PS 3 as well. As I said earlier, only thing you might see is multiple ports at a later date. MGS 1 and MGS 2 both visited microsoft either on the Xbox or PC several years after release.

Otherwise - nice. MGS and MGS2 were both lots of fun, this kinda makes me wish I had $499 + $59 to throw away.
