Runetime Error Question

Hi all,

I am trying to get RO to work on my HDTV. I have it plugged in through a DVI cable and have no trouble running the desktop or games in windowed mode. I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of drivers I might need or what settings I may need because anytime I try to run an application in fullscreen it locks up. RO is giving me the runtime error. I know all of this is only due to the hdtv and I updated my gfx drivers and direct x yesterday.

...or does anyone happen to know how to run RO in windowed mode? That might fix it for me.

Once ingame you can hit Alt + enter

Or you can change a .ini file line to fullscreen=false or some such.

Thanks yoshiro. I'm still getting a runtime error. Do you know why this could be? My gfx card recognizes that I'm using an hdtv display so I'm confused as to why this is occuring.

I'm a bit stumped. Will se if one of our coders thinks looking at the minidump will help.

Does the game have any problem on a standard monitor?

I also have a HDTV but running through a D-sub connection.
Your TV has a optimal screen resolution, mine for example is (cheep old Sumsung Tele ) 1360x768 but also emulates some standard resolutions.
It has a so called "Game Mode", which picks up the refresh rate.

Once thats decided, go into your RO/System/System/ parameters, and look for the line : FullscreenviewportX=1360.../ or whatever...
and :Fullscreenviewport=768.../ or whatever...

That is how I have set mine up, you may have to change the N
