RO Maps Take a long time to load

I have looked at this below

Steam\SteamApps\myname\red orchestra\System

and there are no files in the system folder? can some one help





found a file that resembles it at

Steam\SteamApps\common\red orchestra\System
engine.dll




Error: Red Orchestra takes a long time loading maps
We are looking into the over all cause of this however you may do the following to attempt to improve your load times.
Fix1:
1) Find your Redorchestra.ini file located in the steam/steamapps/yournamehere/redorchestra/system folder (hint it looks like a notpad icon with a cog)
2) Change the cache size to better match your ram size

1 Gigabyte of RAM or more

1 gb ramm
ATI Rad 9800 (pro) 128mb
123 gb hdd
on board sound

I am looking to change the GC in the near future up to a 512 card

Just so you know, a 512mb graphics card wont make a difference from a 256mb one (in RO). You need a faster processor first of all.

Secondly, turn off precaching in the same ini file!
Under: [D3D9Drv.D3D9RenderDevice]

Find: UsePrecaching=True (set to False)

would'nt know how to change the CPU. changing the GC I can do.
