He's just as much social commentary as he is humor. I think he's a brillant commenter/comedian. Yes because he's black he can say stuff like that and not catch flak. Nowadays many people have confused "criticism" with "racism". Now you can only criticize your own race while criticizing other races prompts jello brains to label you a "racist". The more "politically correct" people become the less problems will be solved and the more people can hide their heads in the sand and pretend everything is awesome and great. People are turning into non confrontational pussies.

Do you guys understand that when he uses the "N" word he's using it to describe the behavior of only certain black people that behave in negative & destructive ways. When he refers to "black people" he's talking about people who don't act like that. He's not racist. How can someone be a racist against their own race? Lol!

True - and of course he has all the more the right to make these comments, not simply because he is the same colour par se, but because it is mostly law abiding blacks who's lives are adversely effected by such people. That's the point.

Anybody thinking seriously Chris Rock is racist after viewing that clip is not getting it.
For all I know, he is a very progressive black man with a high sense of criticism.
p.s. I saw all his one man shows and the man is spot on and funny as hell.

Well, no duh. If Chris Rock has said the "nappy headed ho" thing instead of Imus, people would have thought it was funny and he'd still be working.
