Well yes it IS less than a Chally but as I don't want to get involved in another pointless battle about which was best I'll refrain. As for people watching it, if you know Bovvy you'll know there are veiwing points all round the track for Chally and they are used. My experience with Chally is restricted, all I've done is drive it, fix it, support it in the Gulf so I'd have to bow to your experience. :p :p :p :p :p

It would be kewl to see an 88 shell bounce off a Chally2, but yeah, I think I would if given the chance rather drive a Tiger.
Interesting point, mate. One thing though using brake, clutch and accellerator and no power assistance... then add crash gearbox and restricted off road performance....
The way I see it, its like comparing ANY vehicle from 60 plus years ago to a modern one. The IDEA of driving it is great, you can't overlook all the history and charisma a vehicle from that era has. Its just that all too often the reality is disappointing.
Take ANY modern 60 ton tank (Abrams, LeClerc,Chally2) and drive it at SPEED cross country with all its gun-kit on full stab and its an experience you'll NEVER forget. By comparison driving an older piece of kit at necessarily slower and more cautious speeds......well I leave it to you.

the sounds in ro svck. looks like fun, although I'd like a labeled diagram as to what each lever/button/pedal does

Try the Tigerfibel - the User's manual to the Tiger. Page 19 tells the buttons & levers, page 21 how to use them to start the tiger. Page 39 shows the steering weel and the pedals, plus tells how to use them.

(I know the link is well known, but this answers Marion's question I guess :))

great, now how bout a translation? I'm incredibly lazy so I'm not about about to go run that all through babelfish or an online translator or my German-English Dictionary... or maybe
