I get in, I find a server, 5 minutes later, I am in the server... and it lags...

Digital Illusions is a swedish company and I think about 99% of the work force are swedes so english isn't their natvie language

Well, Battlefield 2 does have a play 'Play Now' button which is supposed to take you to the first server it can find with a free slot and a low ping. In practice though it takes ages. So it does make sense.
