well, I expect my view of the "good" and the "bad" on the eastern front is a bit different than yours. Patton had the right idea towards the end of the war, IMO.
I am pretty sure that FlashPanHunter said in his documentation for this map that it wasn't based on the real town of Gorlitz. The atmosphere in his map reminds me more of Frankfurt on Oder or Kustrin.
