300 is a v stylish and hopefully good adaptation of a somewhat amusing graphic novel.

Never heard of the comic, would GREATLY prefer a more historically accurate movie. First time I saw something that was a "fantasy element", I lost the ability to enjoy the movie as much as Id hoped I would.

I have to agree. This has to be one of the most poorly promoted movies in a while, unless it's just fluff. They keep advertising it during hockey games, so I've seen the ad 300 times. Except I couldn't tell what it was about and I thought the title was "ZOO" because the 3 is all f***ed up. If I'd known it was about Thermopylae I'd have been more interested. Until, that is, I learned the villain is named "Uber Immortal". Now that's just lame.
I'm betting this is a comic book on film.
