Key binding for Tank

I could not find any posts that fixes this tiny but still anoying "bug"
I've read a few posts about others having similiar problems, so I know i'm not alone on this.

I use the arow keys to play and numpad for wep change etc.

My problem is, When I'm in a Tank I can only use the numpad 1-2-3 keys.
num1 is Driver - num2 is MG ( Front ) num3 is turret/cmd seat.
Witch means I can't use the MG in the rear or the one attached to the turret.
For some strange reason they are not availeble with this Key binding with Tanks?

However all weapons work with the numpad when I play as infantry.

This is my Numpad key binds, basicaly its the same as the default Nr-keys but mapped to the numpad insted, so it should work right, well it doesn't.

NumPad6=SwitchWeapon 6
NumPad5=SwitchWeapon 5
NumPad4=SwitchWeapon 4
NumPad3=SwitchWeapon 3
NumPad2=SwitchWeapon 2
NumPad1=SwitchWeapon 1
NumPad0=ROManualReload
NumPad7=speech ALERT 1
NumPad8=speech ALERT 2
NumPad9=speech ALERT 4
NumPadPeriod=SwitchFireMode

Oh, btw I'd love to see a keybind for toggling Auto/manual throttle control in tanks On/Off.
I know we have it in the options menu but I'm sure every one would preffer to have this bind to a key.
You can let go your hands when leaving spawn on large tank maps and be able to switch to manual throttle for fine tuning the throttle and turning in small areas.

Thanks for support and most of all for a Fantastic game.

Keep it up lads :D

Witch means I can't use the MG in the rear or the one attached to the turret.

The turret MG is opperated from the commanders spot with the secondary fire button - the key you use to drill people with your bayo or single shot with the MG34. So you should be able to use that???...

And the MG in the rear.. im not 100% sure i understand what you mean..but.. if you mean the MG at the back of the Is2 turret, unfortunatelly it's just cosmetic and we're all unable to use it. Hope this helps.

Numpad works fine.
But you have to edit the user.ini file to make it work.
You can find the file inside -----> \Valve\Steam\SteamApps\common\red orchestra\System

I just tought that some of the keys didn't work when I used a tank.
But the rear MG turret on the IS2 tank are fake, and the front turret MG is used with the secondary fire key, witch I have assigned to my mouse.

I got my weapon keys set up on the numpad like this.

NumPad6=SwitchWeapon 6 ( Satchel I think, or perhaps that was nr5 )
NumPad5=SwitchWeapon 5 ( Dont remember )
NumPad4=SwitchWeapon 4 ( Binocs )
NumPad3=SwitchWeapon 3 ( Pistol & Tank gunner
NumPad2=SwitchWeapon 2 ( Grenade & MG in tank
NumPad1=SwitchWeapon 1 ( Main Wep & Driver pos in tank.
NumPad0=ROManualReload ( Reload )
NumPad7=speech ALERT 1 ( Go Go )
NumPad8=speech ALERT 2 ( Take Cover )
NumPad9=speech ALERT 4 ( Don't remember right now )
NumPadPeriod=SwitchFireMode ( Single shot or Auto )

Good luck :rolleyes:
