Okay, I wanted to make a bayo only map, so I set the weapons under RoleInfo to:

(names are as I recall them, editor is not open)

Amount=0
AttachedPackage=None
Weapon=K98


This would seem to me at least to give the player a K98 with no ammo. I load the map, and I get 8-9 clips of ammo. What am I missing?:confused:
 
The only way (that I know of) to change the amount off ammo for certain classes is to make a new class. This is a similar process to making new skins for vehicles/players, you cannot simply slap them on. I really wish the 'Amount' field under the RoleInfos actually changed the amount of clips for that weapon but as of right now changing this does not work, or do anything. :(

On the nades topic, I want the players in my new level to be able to pick up more nades

At the moment you cant pick up another nade if you already have 2.
Some things that bug me a little.

- Squad leader not being able to pick up frag grens untill they have chucked the smoke nades.

- maximum nades set to 2

- not being able to pick up a germen gren if you have 1 russian gren left ( or reverse)



Would I need to mod all the classes to change this

The players would start with the normal amount.
