very cool it's like a beefed up BF1942 without infantry - ships, carriers subs, planes etc
not really a FPS, more combo strategy/RTS/3rd person and some hands on control

I JUST played this, pretty damn good looking. Plays like a RTS/FPS hybrid, selecting units to use, and you can take control. I launched planes from my carrier, then took control of the group(they fly in formation, but can switch which plane you control at any time). Like it, will look to see if theres any SP stuff like training missions, as those are almost a must-have.

Demanding how? System-wise, or gameplay? System-wise, it doesnt seem bad at all, I had good fps(not sure about specific number, but it was smooth), didnt notice any lag at all, so in that respect, its very good. Not too intuitive, it too kme awhile to figure out to use alt key to be able to launch planes from carrier lol. Id definately recommend reading the manual before playing. If you can find the one for PC that is...

For some reason everytime I connect by my gamespy account it says unable to connect.

I've tried creating a new one but when I hit register it sits there and does absolutely nothing.

This game - at least this PC demo - is a load of crap.
I expected it to be arcady, but to this extend!?!

I rather go back to Crimson Skies, lol.

I got the unable to login error, but then as soon as that went away it said I was logged in.

Since I don't have Xbox Live Gold, I downloaded the PC demo but I think it'd be alot better on the 360, for me anyways. The type of game is best suited to a controller, and it doesn't run that smoothly on my PC. The one battle I did have though was pretty enjoyable.

Yeah it seems the multiplayer is all f'd up.
