so today on my way home from school on my bike I had to go trough 3 fallen over trees and I went flying 5 times or so, even when I was walking.

they closed down the university library because of the storm and told everyone to get some shelter,on my way home my car was pushed a bit to the left and right because of the winds, and infront of my gragre was a lot of broken wood lying around which i had to throw aside to be able to park my car

I walked round a corner into a strong gust of wind that stopped me completly from moving forward, but apart from hearing quite alot of car alarms going off, nothing much has happened around here.

Don't know about your library but ours has an archive basement, so if I was really looking for shelter, I would take cover in the vaults

well I was walking to school, but the wind was against me, got knocked down 3 times orso, and walking was almost impossible, except when the wind was comming from behind. normal walk from station to school takes 15 minutes, this time it took me at least 30 minutes.

We've had some floodings here in Denmark, and the big bridges have been cloused for tall and light vehicals many a time recently, but other than that, we have only been annoyed a bit by it all, for instance, one guy was blown into the harbour one morning, bet he found that quite annoying!
But then again, i haven't bothered to keep up with the news lately, so i might have missed out on something.

ROFL here in Los Angeles I actualy slipped on ice this morning at school....I was like WTF?? It has been cold at night here recently. My school is like 3 miles from the ocean in sunny socal and we had ice!!
The water pipes froze underneath our football practice field and flooded it all. What a mess!

5 people died here in the netherlands cause of the storm. hit by fallen over trees and stuff like that. there was a picture of a guy leaning forward into the wind in 45 degrees and he didnt fall over lol.

How fast are the wind gusts you guys are getting? We get 70+ mph winds all the time during tornado season.

Depends, i think they were up to 125 mph here in Germany, i think like 80 mph here in my city.
