Server Linux Server Updated - November 2, 2006

To all Linux server admins:

The linux server has been updated. Please run the HLDS Update tool normally as described in this thread: http://www.redorchestragame.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2831 to update your server.

This update should addess CPU utilization issues since the 1034 update a couple of days ago. Please report back here with your findings after you update.

how is that report coming? Does the patch work like we thought it would? Any feedback at all would be great

i had the same problems after the latest patch from steam.

Very bad pings, the game runs very bad an all maps, infantry too.

And often, the game crashed and must be restarted.

I have installed the new linux patch and the server will run better now.

Better Pings, and Mapchanges are now succesfully.

I hope this is now an stable Version of Linux RO Server for our Linux Box.

i had not too much time testing until now, but the time i played (not on full server) cpu-usage looked fine.

all ask ueber to report if he has some more details, if not ill watch it today.

Looks like the patch worked as its supposed to. I didn't check the CPU usage, but with 32 players we had good pings and no lag at all (even on tank maps).
