Alright guys, I went and seen this movie last night. I think I can safely say it was one of the best WWII movies ever made. This movie wasn't mindless like Windtalkers or innacurate like Saving Private Ryan, it was both very thought provoking and accurate in my opinion. It wasn't filled with action as much as other movies, I'd say around 40% of the movie is combat, but the action is some of the most intense stuff I've seen. What this movie is mainly about is its theme on heroism and the like. I would strongly suggest that everybody go see this movie, but don't expect to feel too cheery when you walk out of the theatre.

Saw a matinee today, and I agree that its an extremely good movie. The only critique I had was that the opening is a bit disjointed and confusing, but makes sense once you get to the end. I'd definitely recommend it to everyone. Now I want to see the Japanese version in Febuary...

Yes, it takes about 15 minutes or so to get used to the somewhat harsh scene changes, but once you get used to the flow it doesn't hinder the movie at all.

I would say it's a good idea....once you've seen the film it will help you understand the song better, in my opinion.

I saw it last night. It was one of the best war movies i've ever seen, in my opinion its better then Saving Private Ryan.
