The new "OGR COOP" mode that is in GRAW since the latest patch si actually quite fun... and they finally solved the "mitchel dies, misison over" issue with ordinary Coop. thus, it is quite fun nowadays.
Guild Wars is COOP friendly. You can play with coop bots too and TDM. I played the 1st one, and stopped after. I really dont like the paper-scissors-leaf type of gameplay.
Civilization 4 is quite fun too, if you can afford time and time to find good partners.
Unfortunately... you will be fighting with a friend (On LAN) against the most BLIND and stupid AI Soldiers...
You can be 2 meters away and they will miss you...
Shots on the left... shots on the right... shots above you... if you idle to long he will kill you tho...
At least its a 1 or 2 shot kill when they hit you....
Hehe so true Marker, also don't forget the magical M4 carbine in DF2 that can hit guys 900m away with pin point accuracy once you get the drop right
A game I noticed not mentioned here is Vietcong, has a pretty cool coop mode, from what I remember you could even play area capturing game modes with the AI defending. The AI itself is pretty good as well, actually moves around, takes cover and pours on fire. Though there are times the enemy will see you through about ten bushes and then proceed to shoot you in the head with a .38 revolver from 100m away.
I think I mentioned already but Commandos I - II are helluva fun in co-op, even though you need to prepare some time for playing, especially with Commandos II.
