yes they did use it alot behind sand bags also
and they go well on Berezina defensive positions

We have LOADS of trenches, Basovka is practically World War I Western super charge, Barashka has a lot of trenches on the pennisula, Rakowice has a lot of trenches, Berinzina, and they would even work well on Konigsplatz.
I'm sure I am forgetting some others also...

The pacing of the game is definitely too fast for these.
It'd have to be WWIIOL/OFP paced or like a truly realistic simulation for these to have value.

Could come in handy on Basovka. Now, I'm no coder, but couldn't you take the binocular function and simply apply it to this? So you just press the use button and it works just like the binocs maybe without the marks on the inside. Hey, that's just me and I bet it's a 100x more difficult than that.
