Instead of ini tweaking these loading time "fixes" might be handy to add to the menu? Sorry if its already there but especially for people with 512/256mb of ram these fixes can make the difference between timing out and playing with fun.

i think youve got a good idea there.
while youre at it, why dont add AF/AA stuff as well?
cuz i have no clue at all of how to manually do it in the video drivers
and ofcourse other newer people might not know or care to search these forums to search for that, or just dont know how to change that in the .Ini stuff, since i can clearly remember my struggle with that

Yeah would be great to add that, or at least a readme file for it with an update or something like that, because I was frustrated to see BF2 running fine and RO:O being a Dia show. The tweaks helped me a lot to have a chance of at least playing the game normally and I guess there are more guys like me out there having the same problem.

it would be cool if precaching would be off by default and people had to manually enable it. Its not like having it off causes any problems other than some jerkiness sometimes for some people at the start of the level. It gives you faster load times and seems to use less ram (because not everything is loaded always on the ram)
