New guns on maps?

I was just wondering what maps/classes use the new guns. So far I've only seen the mp-41 on baksan valley and a few others.

M44 - all maps set in 1944 and after

The M44 can be picked by russian riflemen on the above maps.

slight aside,
Axis on Arad have riflemen (& fausts) but Allies don't have any riflemen at all which is a shame IMHO

I would very much like to use M44 on Arad (maybe as sapper)

i have to reiterate that i dont think the mp41 should be available in so many maps.. it was a very, very, very rare gun... heck, the erma, mp28 and even mp18 was more common in the german army than the mp41... hell... even the ppsh41 was more common in the german army!

no, the mp41 should be reserved for maps where there are military police forces fighting or reserved for commanders only...

agree, i thought it was a rare gun, and now every smg-dude has an mp41
so, if it was rare, make it more rare in the game too

what i dont understand is that rare mp41 is all over the place in the game and the ppsh still dosnt have selective fire yet a few million of them were made with it.

The Mp41 should only be available in Odessa. Since a Police battalion would only be using them.

the devs made it available to everyone so people can get it out of their system, play all the new weapons excessively, and not care when they limit them to only a few maps in the future

All joking aside, I wonder what their reasoning behind this was though...

can somone tell me the advantages and disadvantages of the M44 and Mp41. I also think the PPsH should have selective fire i mean even CoD possibly one of the most run and gun ww2 shooters out there has a semi auto and fully auto version.

mp41 has slightly less recoil b/c of the heavier wooden stock

m44 has a bayo attachement and is quicker to pull up to iron sights b/c it is smaller, and has less sway when in IS b/c of its weight, so it's similar to the m38 but has a bayo attached instead.

and as far as the selective fire on the ppsh, it's been discussed before (i don't remember the outcome)

Also, try playing with the 91/30 or the 98k, then go to the M44 or M38 and check the bolting speeds. I was astonished at how much faster the bolting is on the carbines.

Melee attacks can be "powered up" and carried out quicker with the M44.

The 38 has become useless now, I doubt anyone will pick it over the exact same rifle with a better melee and bayonet,
