Deaths Messed Up!

Hey i just got Red Orchestra working from the receant zone alarm update but i have another problem.

Whenever i shoot someone and kill someone all that happens is the start walking on the spot and just drop there kit..they don't look dead..the dont explode they just stand there and sometimes the keep walking on the spot....HELLLLP

You need to delete some files and let them regenerate. I can't remember which ones. Let me try and fine that out for ya.

After people die their bodies don't fall to death but stand up and maybe start walking
Fix: in your C:\program files\steam\steamapps\<username>\red orchestra\system\ folder delete all files with .upl and .ucl (try out engine.ucl first)

I'm having the same problem now, I think...after I installed the SDK files...but I don't see any of those file extensions. I have an Engine w/ no ext and an Engine.u along with several other .u files.

Those extensions are there. If they are missing you might want to try deleting your redorchestra folder and letting the folder be recreated.

To recreate I just start up steam and try to launch the game? Or do I go into properties and click the Integrity check button?

launching ro should regenerate the folder for you. Make sure to back up your .ini's if you want to keep your settings.

What about the SDK thing? I don't wanna delete that

Then perhaps just delete your System folder. It should still work. (But now you might want to back up your rosdk.exe)

they can't be missing since without those files (although they get automatically regenerated) you wouldn't be able to play. Its not some unused text file

I'd say delete the ucl and upl files believe me they are there if you ever started up the game. And load up the SDK once more from within steam (after you let it verify the integrety of the file cache)
