Give some better side arms to a number of classes, especially the PTRD.
Not only is the ptrd just a glorified rifle (ive killed more inf with it then tanks) , why does the axis panzerfaust get an mp40? Also can tank crews also have carbines/smg's, not to add realism or anything, but to give them a little playability when ditching a tank to attack on foot. I guess there is a problem of them popping out of a tank and shooting an incoming saper, so implement a delay when exiting, and some exiting animations, ok thats too much to ask now :)

If you look at pictures of PTRD troops during the war they only carry their rifle when marching and they always have at LEAST one other person (usually two or 3) with them at all times (usually carying a ppsh).

Tankers are like captains of a ship, they go down with their command, or they bail early and have to swim to shore.

Because a Panzerfaust only weighs 10 pounds and a PTRD with all the shells weighs over 40 pounds.

If you've abandoned your tank and you're only armed with a pistol, that's you're own fault.

but three Panzerfausts weigh 30lbs and probably very cumbersome, awkward and uncomfortable to carry along with a MP-40 ( another 10 pounds + 7 magazines of ammunition )

We've had the faust discussion a million times. It was done the way it is becuase they didnt want to have every german running around with a faust turning ROO into a frag fest.... Sure stockpiles of fausts were common towards the end of the war (look at the production numbers in the hist/tac manual) but the ensuing gameplay would be horrible becuase people dont behave realistically when they play games.

because thats the way it really was...i dont know about others but im not about to sacrifice realism for 'fareness'

Keep in mind that the carrying of 3 fausts is fudging realism in RO... A soldier would carry 1, NOT 3.
a german soldier could easily carry 3...they arent that big...infact there were three dif sizes of faust made that the german soldier could exploit.
