Do people really dislike this game?

I do not whine anymore. I crush you with my almost-invincible T34/85. There is no reason to be Rifleman if you can drive a tank.

BTW: I speak for reality. And that means that only ONE of THOUSAND Soldiers was that good as that soldier. Why do everyone try to be a damn hero in a game ? I don't wanna be a hero, I wanna survive and help my team. If I'm useless as a Soldier, gimme a Tank and I'm 10 times as useful as an Elite-Soldier.

^^^ Lost cause.

Look, we both want fun in this game. You've your fun when rifling someone from 2km distance. I've fun when I'm hunting Tigers, Panthers down to death in a nice T34/85 ;) Glad to see RO:O allow both of us to have fun.
I have fun doing both! You just seem to make no sense half the time, which is very frustrating. I explain that I and many others have found no problems using the rifle. You somehow equated this to every one running around being a hero which makes the game unrealistic. In fact it is exactly the opposite. I am solid with the rifles because I do not run around like a hero. I engage in firefights(as a team) at medium to long rage while using cover. I do not advance until we have eliminated the resistance or I have covering fire. When I do advance I usually perform a low sprint, find cover again, and reengage the enemy. This is precisely why this game is such a great realistic fps.

I'm glad to see you have started to enjoy the game. Hopefully I'll see you on some time and give your tank a solid infantry escort. Taking out pesky tank hunters is no problem with a trusty Mosin Nagant.:D

I play under the name BoltAction. Later.

I don't know what all the fuss is about, the game plays great. I have a 3 year old rig with some upgrades, and it runs great. I have not noticed any bugs while playing.

the gaming experience is just, well, awesome. never played a WWII shooter with such an intense "feel" to it. never (played 'em all, BTW). Brothers in Arms was close, but this?, no peers. none.

the level of teamwork on pub servers is FAR ahead of any other game as well. some BF2 servers would demand a high level of tactical play and team work (Tactical Gamer's servers come to mind there), but most were tard festivals.

the problem in today's world is everyone feels entitled to air their petty, tedious, complaints about things, regardless of whether they have standing to or not. things have to be instantly perfect to their subjective liking, or, there's hell to pay. like this guy complaining about the game, but he won't change his 5-year old mouse. Do we need to waste time discussing these subjective issues? which, ultimately turned out to be overcome by his change in play style. jeebus.

see you guys out on the servers....

We see us on the field ;) Hoe you're playing on european servers, because I am an european *g*. Just look for someone that calls himself [GFM]Cpt_Data. GFM is not a clan, its a Mod.
