Another FPS Thread

1.6GHz P4, 9800 Pro (latest omega drivers), 1.25GB RAM



Ive tried every little fix I could find, nothing has had any kind of impact. Running ALL settings on low, no mouse lag/smooth, no bloom, no anything. No game should run this bad should it? I know my CPU is a bit ancient, but it seems like NOTHING can be done to gain even 5-10 FPS (just to make the game playable). The mod ran better than this on higher settings.

Try going back to an earlier gfx driver, see if that helps.

Ill give that a shot. But I honestly think its my CPU. Very strange... but I'd like to comment on how the suggested requirements are[FONT=Helvetica, Geneva, Arial, SunSans-Regular, sans-serif] [/FONT][FONT=Helvetica, Geneva, Arial, SunSans-Regular, sans-serif]Pentium

Tried that. I think Ill be needing a new CPU. Kind of a ****ing piss off considering the minimum specs and the fact the mod ran so smoothly. Havent yet hit the sweet spot in terms of adjusting settings, running out of options.
