RO community wishlist (TWI please read this)

A realistic and easy to implement option right now would be the option to choose your unlocks. It's really bad when you leveled your MP-40 up and can't get rid of the II upgrade. Same with sight hoods on the K98k or the anti-air drum on the MG-34.

EDIT: Like in Call of Duty, (smite this user for uttering the unholy name) where you're able to "tick" what upgrade you want or don't want.

Also, native language option? Q~Q

I actually revoke my plea to see the bayonet as a situational attachment rather than an upgrade... It is clear the design changes RO2 has taken, and to have bayonets function as they used to would only make the game even more confused about it's identity than it already is. The current structure doesn't lend itself to situational awareness of any sort, it's more, 'There they are! Shoot them! Good job, you get points and a medal.'

I am agree with a few part of your point. NOT with all your points. Question 5 is the POINT important of your list !

Not all of your points are good...

Exemples :

NO. The better way of realism is : NO BANDAGING !!

NO. Players doesn t need to look as heavy medaled marshal ?? Simply remove, don t add cosmectic...

My question :
why german don t talk in german ? We can heard russian talk in russian. It s your question 4 ? If it s it s a good point. It s better to heard german when we play axis and russian when we play allies. If you mean playing heard yuor own native langage it s not good point...Not realistic.

Another question :
stats is not realisitical part of RO 2...RO 1 was realisitic WITHOUT stats. Stats don t do realistical a game.
Stats need to be regulary restarted. Stats become quickly boring...

Then your points are not all good. BUT ONE IS REALLY IMPORTANT !

That list was starting to take on a comfortable shape - then point 10 dropped in there. Come on, really..? If you had to make a top 10 list of the Most Wanted would fiddly facial animations really be on that list? Unless there's a whole side to the RO franchise that I've not noticed in the last five years that the lack of expressions now renders impossible, me thinks priorities are in danger of becoming a tad confused. Nice to have? Sure. Important? No.

well i dont know if it has ever been mentioned but why is it possible to ingame go prone with iron sights up and crawl forward or backward while the iron sights stay focused ? As far as i know this makes no sense at all... it would be far better when the weapon is taken completely down (not aim or shootable) while crawling forward or backward (like in darkest hour) !

Some good points but not all of them I agree with. This isn't RO1, it never will be and people need to remember that.

While I disliked the concept of the unlock system as it didn't seem to have a place within the game, it's now here. And frankly it isn't as obtrusive as you all make out, I've spent a while leveling up and I have nearly everything unlocked. I can say honestly, the only weapons that "make a difference" are the MG34 unlocks, C96 unlock and the most important the PPSH drum mag.

If you can't unlock the PPSH drum magazine over the course of a days gaming, then you don't deserve the thing. It's the easiest gun in the game to use, and it's a complete noob cannon once it has the drum magazine. It's the only gun ingame which allowed me to get a 34 "kill streak" within the space of 4 minutes before I died.

These soldiers don't have parkinsons and so don't need super sway but I totally agree with a bit more. Sounds / foot steps too. The wounding system has to balance arcade and realism due to the fact that you can respawn within 18+ seconds anyway. But it could have a longer period to bleed out and a longer bandage time. Squad and tank interfaces need better usability. Currently it's next to impossible to join a squad with your friends and choose the weapon you want. :)

I think I may have a quite fair solution for that.

It would be cool if bandage was like ammo. You can wear one up to two bandages. Let's say you get hit in the leg. You start losing blood. If you don't apply a bandage over time you will bleed out completely after ten minutes and die. When you do apply the bandage it can take about seven seconds to do so. When It's done you've stoped the bleedout. You will have problems to run and it's not possible to sprint anymore. Stamina is affected aswell. If you're hit in the arm, the sway will be increased. You character will make painfull sounds. In order to heal up completely you will have to go to a medic tent which is found at the main spawn.

Or, simply remove the bandaging..

The other was just an idea I had. :)

EDIT: Regarding the Tactical view.. I think this should be removed. It just feels away to handy to use.. I prefer a normal map instead of HUD details popping up by a button press. At least in hardcore mode.

I like the tactical view and actually find it rather realistic. A squad member wouldn't be given a map (at best they might get a brief look at a mud model or sketch map held by a corporal or sergeant).

What they would get, that we don't have in game, is the corporal pointing them at the important landmarks on the battlefield. Corporal might well grab a trooper by the head in order to physically aim him at the target. Tactical view represents this quite well!

IEEE no thank you on the last part of bandaging you suggested. Affect stamina yes, accuracy maybe a bit, and the temp-cripple effect like in ROOst, but a cripple effect lasting the whole round would just be no fun for the players. Punish bullet impacts more, but not at the expense of fun.

And only hero should be able to choose enemy weapons . Veteran should not be able to choose enemy weapons . Veteran can get maybe other uniform or different helmet idk but not enemy weapon .
And guys what u think that german commander should be able to call for STUKAS ! It should be like soviet rocket strike but with different sound . Like this one
