I don't see how Notch can resist adding that into regular Minecraft. He's added other people's stuff before, and this is all really cool and also somehow keeps the feel of simple mechanics while being horribly complex. Although with the more complex stuff, the damage caused by creepers becomes that much worse to repair. Me likey.

He can't add this mod. Author strictly forbid using his "Better than wolves" addon. Well, mods are a as same important as main game in PC world.

well, on the wiki it states that a zombie seige mode is in production, although I'm not sure how that'd work.

I found these mods as awesome. I missed industrial aspect in MC.

Yeah those mods are impressive.

Only issue I have is how you basically build things that play the game for you.

Half the fun of Minecraft is exploring cave systems and finding deposits of rare ore. Making machines to do it for you kinda ruins the fun.

I could see that they could be useful if you had a huge persistent server that was set up as a big simulated economy, where people set up gigantic factories to produce goods that were shipped across the world for consumption and trade.

In other words, not for fun.
