Only time I ever join a "clan" is when I'm dedicated to an MMO, never got into the whole clan thing outside of MMO's. I think last time I was in a "clan" before I got into mmo's was when I was 13ish for Tony Hawk's Underground for the ps2.

Maybe they can make a mod in which you stand on a watchtower all day and watch some starving people, also totally apropriate.

It's kinda weird that I rarely ever see any Soviet themed clans.

It's always German ones. Join a game, and see SS or Pzr Grn or what have you and they always are on the German team, as if they really start thinking they're that particular unit.

I am fine playing alone on publics, with loose group of friends or just one. I've no mind to long-term responsibilities like clans, their agendas and such. I enjoy to play when I want at the time I want with whoever I want.

I thought about mentioning that too. Clans and guilds that have in common yeah. It's why I don't do them anymore. Being part of good clan or guild is a lot like a part-time job. They even have co-workers you'd like to choke the **** out of.
