Beta vs Full Version

Hi, I was wondering if the beta of RO2 will be like the full game but with more bugs???

Will the full game have new features that didn't make in the beta???

Basically I want to know if the DDE is really worth it over the std version.

As far as I know, there will be no SP content in the beta

I think it's going to be very close to the full game.If the game is to be released in 2 weeks they need time to get boxed version out to the retailers.Most likely there will be only minor bugs and glitches and they will be fixed by patches after the release.

Of course you should get the DDE version, you get to play alot earlier and give more dosh for TWI they really deserve it, half the price of other big fps games coming out this year and twice as better.

What some people are forgetting is that Final Beta is the exact same thing as final release. There is a reason its called final beta.

In other words all you are getting with Final Beta access is earlier access to the multiplayer, where you lose all your ranks and such on the Final release.

I didn't buy the deluxe for multiple reasons including this. (another was the free unlocks. I hate having free first day unlocks!)

It will have one map that is very small, you be issued rubber bullets, when you get hit by one a LOLCAT will begin screaming Achtung!! Shambeh! Bambeh!!! in your ears until you soil yourself!!!

I am lucky with the Beta - I am enlisted for the Austrian army and my service starts at september the 5th

There wouldn't be any point in not including all the maps during a beta.

I would think only 1-2 maps likly 1 hope its a winter map , and the bugs shouldn't be that bad just as long as there is no Chuck Norris clones plaguing the map im happy .

Why? What if there are issues with the other maps? If the beta testers don't get to try them, then we'll never know until after the game has been released.

The beta is MP only, and will contain a subset of the maps (3 maps) with all 3 gametypes. We will likely rotate in/out maps throughout the course of the beta. And disks are already being pressed, but the disks don't ship with the game code. That means we can (and most likely will) fix any bugs we find right up until release day.
