The Germans used Ammo carriers to supply ammo to the tanks...that would be a cool addition having a Sd.Kfz supply ammo to the tanks on bigger maps..they would pull up next to the tank and resupply the ammo.

There's only 1 tank only map, and I'd be hugely surprised with 32v32 tanking if anyone would have the time to rattle off the 70+ shots they could carry.
Nice idea, with a larger and more varied tank implementation it could be good though.

I don't think, aside from MG'ing, I have ever run out of ammunition in RO. Maybe once on a 20 minute defence of the North Rail Yard in Kessel but the amount of bodies dropping around me meant the supply was plentiful.

I run out of ammo once, it was that snow map that is very big, I stood behind the enemy spawn shoting my k98
. It's easy to use a lot of ammo with the assault or the semiauto rifle if you want

I completely support this suggestion, as I know there will be remakes of large tank maps like OREL. and yes, you CAN punch out all of your tank rounds .

On the one side I really like the idea because of the realism but on the other: When I hear "ammo supply" I think of grenades and do we really need more nades in the game?

The maps will have resupply stations for infantry AND tanks. No use unless you run out of a different type of ammunition like APCR rounds (if thats even in the game)

First I run out of ammo many times...I even run out of ammo with the K98 which I can carry up to approx 11 clips...in addition there are times where infantry are pinned down in areas and cannot reach ammo dumps, also you can move troops approx 4 troops with this type of carrier...in addition of course tanks were resupplied ammo during battle...how to you think they keep shooting especially Stug etc...they often have to stay hidden so they are not knocked out and what better way to get ammo then to "teamsay" I need ammo at D4 etc...that way you dont pull out of cover and get knocked out....

I never run out of ammo, maybe you reload and lose some shots? Never ran out of ammo with tanks either, and I only died 3 times in one game. I don't it's worth the time to implement.
