New berserker weapon

Just to get this out of the way, this is not really directed at the developers but more at the community. I have an idea for a new weapon!

The (gigantic) pruning shears!

Not excited? Well you should be!

2 firing modes,
primary: Stab with the pointy end, not too powerful but fast
secondary: SNIP SNIP! Powerful but slow and is able to decapitate and/or disembowel/gib

Possible things to say when equipping: (Insert british accent when necessary)
You look like you could use a shave...
I'll only take a little off the top...
I knew that gardening class would come in handy...

Any ideas?

Maybe this wasn't so much of a good idea, but to be fair, I came up with it in a dream (or maybe nightmare) that I had. To be fair, is it really worse than such ideas as a brick? I dunno about you, but pruning shears = badass to me

There are enough zerker weapons already. At least have something the does more than slow, heavy damage and quick, light damage.

Tazer, Low damage, stuns zeds, can stun up to 5 lesser zeds that are touching each other, or 1 Medium Zed(Siren/Husk). Cannot not stun large specimens (Scrake/FP).

Not bad, but most weapons can KILL specs faster. Against anything but a huge horde of specs, this would be useless.

I think the Brick was meant more of as a joke; if anything to be included as some kind of out-of-the-way comedic weapon, along with the piebomb helmet.

That's actually where I was going with this weapon, kinda a just for lolz weapon. I personally think there are plenty of weapons in the game already, and some funny ones would be pretty cool. If no one wants to make it, the idea will die out, and no one will be harmed. I'm just trying to spark a flame in your heart.

I must admit, it would do fine as a lolz weapon.

Kind of like the Broken Pipe weapon in a way.

True, but could you imagine, tazoring a clot and in a whiny clot moan/scream, have the clot say "Don't Tazor me bro!"

I was thinking about this the other day.
I think considering the heavy British theme of the game that there should be a broadsword as a melee weapon. Just have it work same as katana but look different, broadswords are for real men!

For a joke: Boxing (fists basically)

As an actual semi-serious suggestion: A polearm of some sort. Whether a makeshift spear, and antique Halberd, or a simple Bo staff.

Would rather have something blunt to be honest. We don't have a blunt weapon yet. I'd love to see an exploding head in melee, rather than another decapitation.
