Vietnam CB Wave 2 HOTFIX Patch Notes 12/9/16

    • Fixed a typo "ANTI-AIRCRAFT CORVERAGE"
    Gameplay
    • Tunnel cooldowns now correctly reset on round restart (no more 1000+ second cooldowns in the second and third rounds)
    • When watching other players mantle over objects, they no longer appear to fly way above the object they're clearing
    • Fixed mantling glitch that caused players to be permanently stuck in some narrow trenches on Hue and Compound
    • Other players no longer appear to stutter badly while mantling
    Weapons
    • No.4 Buckshot now works correctly (correct damage, projectile type, spread and pellet count) with manual bolting enabled
    • Fixed M16 30 round version still being available with an ini edit
     
    They were around, the USAF issued them to gate guards and SEALs most commonly. The Army was constantly "testing" them, but never quite made it through the bureaucratic process till after the war had more or less ended.

    You hear a few stories of some Army guys finding ways to fuse 20's together, and I've seen a few talk about how you had guys practically trying to steal them from the USAF.

    Also should be noted there were more then a hand full that didn't like how raised up they made you. Couldn't quite hit the dirt and stay as low as a 20.

    So they were around, in some fashion. The more accurate reason for removal was probably more of a balance then anything.

    Personally I'd like to see them stay in the game, at least in some form.
