Hello everyone! We are back with another media update for Rising Storm 2: Vietnam. Today’s media update covers our (as always Work in Progress) new PPSh-41 model.

We also have a new .webm for this weapons as well! Check it out below!

As many long term Red Orchestra fans will know, the PPSh-41 is a Russian sub-machine gun developed before World War II as a cheap and simplified alternative to previous smg’s for military and police use. It continued to serve forces allied to or aligned to the USSR post-WWII including during the Korean and Vietnam wars and it can sometimes still be found in use by guerrilla and irregular forces in combat to this day.

Seems to be operating at a training speed here, not at an adrenaline fueled combat speed.
He throws it away fine, but then there's this (exaggerated) empty time as if he's missed his pouch or just taking it easy.. :)
You're assuming he's dumping his mag on the ground. The animation speeds are likely set up for the speed at which it would take to retain your old magazine and to grab a new one, which takes a little longer.

And "adrenaline fueled combat speed" can also mean screwing up simple things on your reload, which would lead to longer reload times too. If you can't reload super fast while not under stress, you don't really magically get better at it while under stress, usually it's the opposite.

Actually, he does it quite speedily. As always I recommend going to the local range and giving it a try yourself ;)
